About

The Applied Biology Plant Collection is a teaching and reference resource that houses preserved plant and disease specimens used in courses, labs, and research. It represents a wide range of agricultural, ecological, and horticultural species, helping students learn plant science, including: physiology, pathology, plant identification, taxonomy, as well as their applications in food, fiber, and environmental systems. The collection belongs to the Faculty of Land and Food Systems (LFS) at the University of British Columbia in the H.R. MacMillan Building Room 342.
