Description:  This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on January 18, 1864 and sent on the steamer Oregon.  McCrea expressed frustration with a new flour supplier; enclosed money; noted the oatmeal (oat meal) had not yet sold; and indicated the beef was unsatisfactory such that one person (Mr. Rhodes) returned it.
