Description: This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on September 3, 1863. McCrea enclosed money for his credit. He informed Fisk about a mix-up with the pork order, writing that he received mess pork not clear as ordered, and so asked Fisk to get him an allowance because of the price difference and because the butchers he trades with only use clear.
