Description: This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on August 3, 1863, and sent on the steamer Sierra Nevada [Seira Nevada]. McCrea enclosed money for his credit; noted goods for (from?) "Glimpe" were satisfactory but the dried apples were damaged; and indicated business is quiet as "news from the mines" was not as desired.
