duly received   I have but little time to
write   perceive by a/c currant that we
are about square  I dont want anything

Description: This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on February 16, 1863 and sent on the steamer "Pacific".   McCrea writes that their accounts look "square", suggesting that neither Fisk nor McCrea owe the other (goods or money).  He writes he does not want more goods at the moment because business is slow, and says he would prefer money.
