McCrea informs Fisk that two ships (the Seyburn and the Lulu) have not arrived; includes a Wells Fargo and Company draft; and orders candles, oatmeal, buck ashes, hominy, and butter. McCrea notes that a man arrived on the last steamer with butter sold by a local agent. There is confusion over who this agent was (Johnson and Harrison are both mentioned).
