F. & Co draft for the sum of five hundred dollars. I had Expected the tobacco would have been sold and that you would have been in funds You have not written me on what terms you purchased the candles. I want one hundred boxes shipped first opportunity If you have not shipped me any of the Tobacco yet you can put it on the Steamer Say ten boxes but if you have sent ten by sail vessel that will do-- I think by appearances we will have flour Enough when the ships on the way get in. Dont forget to send me word what you can get for. Pie fruits & pickles and the duty on them as there will be a heavy stock of them in here Soon Your Truly J.A.
