Summary

Description
English: This map of the city of Vancouver is from 1911. It shows the division of land use at the time. The area within the green circle is known presently as Vanier park. It is labeled on the map as “Indian Reserve”, because when this map was made, the Squamish Indigenous community was inhabiting it. (City of Vancouver Archives, 1911).
