How to Advertise the Olympics

All Olympic games have some purposes. Also, the Vancouver Olympic game has three purposes. Most people in Vancouver understand them. However, there is a different acknowledge between the host country and other countries. To take and understand these purpose correctly, mass media plays an important role. In this year's Winter games, IOCD wanted to tell the importance of native people in Canada. However, this idea is not received correctly in another countries. For example, Japanese mass media focuses on only Japanese athletes. So, Japanese people do not know its idea, because there is a different way to advertise this Olympic games. In this paper, I research the different way of advertising the Vancouver Olympic Games in each country.
