This is such an interesting topic! I very much enjoyed your write up so far. You mentioned briefly costumes and music, however it would be interesting to mention the role of clothing in Bollywood movies and how this relates to sexuality and adultery. Additionally, how do evolving cultural trend relate back to clothing choices ? With regards to music, I often find Bollywood songs as depicting a male attempting to court a woman in overt gestures or demeaning ways, for example by blocking her way, following her or touching her without her consent. It would be interesting to speak to how these actions demean and control women.
