Honesty Pledge bonus mark

Honesty Pledge bonus mark

The faculty of Land and Food Systems is requiring that all students taking APBI courses submit a signed version of the Honesty Pledge. The pledge is posted as an assignment in canvas. As added incentive, we are offering a bonus mark toward your final exam grade. Note the deadline (set by our administration) is 11:59pm April 10.

Hi Sandra,

How will we be able to sign the pledge if we do not have access to a printer?

Blaise, it depends a little on what software you have. 1) you will need a jpg (or similar) version of your signature, which you can take with your cell phone camera.

2) One option is to use a graphics program, import the pdf and then copy/paste the digital version of your signature. We have also uploaded a microsoft word version of the pledge where you can modify the last section (i.e., you can add your name, student number and the date; and insert your signature (as a picture). IF you use the microsoft word version, I would recommend you save the file as a pdf before uploading your pledge to canvas (under assignments please)

Thank you!

Is it okay if we convert it to a word document and then do a digital signature? Does everything need to be written out or just our signature?

For folks trying to sign the honesty pledge, I'd recommend looking into Foxit Reader. It's a free program which is very good for annotating pdfs.

Edit: My question was already answered

Note that both pdf and word versions of the pledge are in the assignment (in canvas).
