Interesting Topic!

Hey there! Very creative and relevant topic, it's a great one to do seeing it was all over the media recently. I agree with another person when it says to bring in rape culture into the picture. Or even to talk about the assaults and abuse that occurs in the entertainment industry. It would be very helpful and would give people more perspectives on the issue. I think a wee bit more detail could be added into the sections just to give a bit more information because I'm sure there are some people out there who did not know many details about this but have heard about it through media or news sources. Cheers!

Good detail!

Hello :)

I really enjoyed reading your page and I thought it was very detailed and informative. This is the topic I would've done had I not proceeded with glass cliff and is relevant to our course. My advice would be do add Kesha's testimony (there are videos) and maybe even the popular picture of her sitting in the courtroom in the introduction. Good work.

Suggestion: Adding a section on Rape Culture and how FreeKesha fits in the discussion

What a pleasant surprise it is for me to find a Wiki page that addresses a current event that holds significance in the discussion around feminism. This topic is a great extension of our course so I commend you for choosing it! To provide more context and build a stronger bridge between your page and our course, I would suggest adding a section that discusses rape culture and how FreeKesha has opened up the conversation.

Hey there, great page!

I always welcome stories regarding women and their fight for justice, it's nice to read the facts and better understand the situation as a whole and to pin-point risk factors. I really do not think that there are enough resource spaces out there for women who need help, so my one recommendation is to add some of these, you can give phone numbers, addresses, hyper-link to websites, but I just really think that adding this helps to advocate against abuse. Beyond this, I really enjoyed how you broke down the information into different forms of abuse, and the implications that can result.

I also just want to caution your resource list, make sure that you are using the proper format, however, if you think this style of referencing betters your post then no worries, I can see how this could apply and make a link to my earlier request for more resources; however, more 'emergency-based' contacts would be preferable

Great post, and creative too!

Adding in the Video Testimony and further clarifications

Hey! Very interesting topic you have chosen and so far I think it presents some intriguing content! One thing as a reader I think could be improved would be adding the actual video of Kesha's testimony for the section of 2014 Lawsuit "Video", and if not possible then to give more information regarding it to present a clearer understanding of it. Also, I think you could add a bit more at the end regarding the idea behind "rape culture" (i.e. what it is about outside the context of Kesha and then further integrating this into your argument). All in all, good work so far! Also, I'm not exactly sure if you haven't added them in yet or I didn't check correctly, but I think it is important for you to find some scholarly articles as references for your information. I realize that there are likely no articles or few relevant ones relating to Kesha specifically, but maybe you could look for ones explaining sexual assault, battery, sexual violence, gender violence, etc. and then use that information to apply to Kesha's case.

Good Page!

I really enjoyed your use of a topic that is part of today's 'pop culture' to highlight the many issues in the business world. Take a look at your references and ensure that you are properly citing instead of just putting the link to where you found the information.

Great page!
