Suggestions

Hello! Wonderful post. I also did my animation project on a similar topic, so I hope that I can leave some valuable suggestions here. Firstly, I love that you have such a detailed Wiki and that all information is relevant. I had a concern about the "Injustices Faced by Indigenous Peoples" section. Perhaps you could further break this down into sub-headings. You can find information on how to do this from http://wiki.ubc.ca/Help:Formatting. The reason why I am suggesting this is because it was a little difficult to read this section, as it was quite lengthy. However, I think all the information was well researched and highly relevant. The information is there - you just need to structure it a little differently! I noticed that you had three references thus far. I'm sure that you will be adding more, but I just wanted to point you to some research journal articles/books that you may find relevant to your topic: Buescher, D. T., & Ono, K. A. (1996). Civilized colonialism: Pocahontas as neocolonial rhetoric. Women's Studies in Communication, 19(2), 127-153. (This source is great! Even though it talks specifically about the movie Pocahontas, it references other great articles that are worth checking out in the "references" section). Knopf, K. (2010). ‘Sharing our stories with all Canadians': Decolonizing aboriginal media and aboriginal media politics in Canada. (Similarly, this may be helpful too).

Feel free to message me on connect's internal messaging system if you have questions about any of my comments! Best, Gagan Cheema
