The UBC Farm is a 24 hectare learning and research farm located on the University of British Columbia's Vancouver Campus. It is only working farmland within the city of Vancouver and it integrates several field research areas in the departments of Botany, Forest Sciences, the Botanical Gardens, and the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.

Farmer Markets and CSA Box Program

During the growing season (usually June through late October), the UBC Farm hosts a farmers market every Saturday from 9am-1pm. In addition, the UBC Farm also hosts a Wednesday market outside the UBC Bookstore from 11:30-1:30.

The UBC Farm also offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Members of the program receive a box filled with a variety of fresh, and seasonal produce valued at $25. Members pay $510 for a 20 week season.

Volunteer

The UBC Farm recruits volunteers on an ongoing basis. Visit http://www.landfood.ubc.ca/ubcfarm/volunteer.php for more info on volunteering.
