Peer Review -- Women in Corporate Japan

Peer Review -- Women in Corporate Japan

Hi Tomo,

I think you chose a super interesting topic with a lot of layers to explore! My first recommendation may be to try and reorganize your topics into a more chronological order that explores the history of women in corporate jobs, and how policies have progressed over time. I think you gave a good introduction to the topic, be careful using words like "whopping," since the Wiki Page should be written in a relatively formal format from what I understand. I like how you introduce the Japanese words followed by the English meanings for these various factors that affect women like Karoshi and Sekhura. It is important to elaborate more on how these things affect women specifically, maybe give more statistical facts. Additionally, it would be valuable to further explore the preventative measures or laws that have been put in place to better protect women from these specific factors. Just a minor thing -- make sure to cite the sources for your pictures used and explain them further in the context of your page.

The idea of "womenomics" is a really interesting concept that I had never heard of before. I think it would also be worthwhile to examine how this concept could be potentially troubling for women in their futures in the workforce. Overall, I think that you are off to a great start, and it would be valuable to add more personal analysis based on your research.

Good Luck with the rest of your project!
