Hi there! I really like your topic, as I did my animation video assignment on this concept of medicalization of the body. I specifically focused on how women's bodies are constructed as these identities that must match what we portray in media. The concept of cosmetic surgery was very popular in terms of medicalizing women's bodies. Surgeries were the cure for everything.
