When you are discussing the topic of homophobia in China, India and Russia, I think it could be useful to mention if those countries are taking any steps towards reducing homophobia. For example, if there are any programs in the LGBTQ community, or support groups, etc. Furthermore, I think it could be interesting to include information about how the homophobic nature of the above countries has impacted individuals that either have come out or are afraid to come out. This would also help the readers to understand the consequences of homophobia.
