Hello,

Thank you for your posting in regards to Indigenous representation in Hollywood. I really never thought about the lack of representation until reading this, rarely do we see a movie show Indigenous culture or a day in the life. I do feel that more information in regards to Indigenous culture should be addressed to show how the government has segregated Indigenous communities therefore in modern society we have not necessarily been treating them equally. I do believe reading an article in regards to Marlon Brando rejecting the award and I felt this was a bold move at such a prestigious event, but I can see why he made the decision he made. Involving Indigenous people to create content is a great way to help bolster those communities and not segregate them.

Hey, thanks for the advice! Since this was just a draft, I am definitely planning to address Indigenous culture in my history section, but I never thought about adding in the constraints from the government that was obviously present.
