4. The organic forms of sulfur must be mineralized by soil organisms if the sulfur is to be used by plants. During the microbial decomposition of organic compounds, various substances are formed including hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Explain what can happen to this hydrogen sulfide within the soilplant-atmosphere system. I don't understand this question, can someone explain this to me? Is this related to acid rain?

No, answer to this question has nothing to do with acid rain. Pls take a look at the sulfur cycle (and lecture notes) and in your answer explain what are the potential pathways of transformation of sulfides within the soil.
