Talk:The Medicalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Western Medicine

From UBC Wiki

Great job on the page so far! I love your explanation of this issue and you present it in a really interesting way. In your introduction, you say “Tradition chinese medicine” instead of “traditional Chinese medicine” so just a little typo to switch up. Also “therefor” should be “therefore”. Just read it over for grammar :)

It would be great if you could add a few more examples. I found the “Medicalization Process” section a little short. Also, it would be nice for your work to have a conclusion. I am interested in your opinion of the many reasons that medicalization of traditional CHinese medicine is a problem. Maybe examples of companies or methods of incorporating traditional Chinese medicine into health care without removing its culture. I found your topic really interesting, it could just use some more information and examples throughout. Some examples you might want to work with are Acupuncture and how it has been medicalized, an explanation of qi, major differences between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, medicalization or trendy use of ginseng. It would also be nice to have Detox Teas, Moxibustion, Acupuncture and any other examples under the same heading.
