Peer feedback - Good job!

Hi! Firstly, I would like to say I think you are doing a good job! I really like your choice of topic, it is a topic that I find fits under the feminism section. I have always had mixed ideas about whether I find uniforms in schools to be positive or negative for children growing up. At times I wish I had gone to a school with uniforms because it would be easier to get ready in the morning and everyone would dress the same showing no differences in social economic status. However, I do also see the benefit in being able to express individuality through personal fashion choices. In your assignment, I like how you provide different points of view of the argument of whether society should keep implementing uniforms or allow for individuals own outfit choices. As well, at the end of your assignment you end off with "it is unclear whether dress codes ultimately protect male and female students or if they reinforce harmful sexist attitudes" which I believe is a good statement, although some could say you should argue for one side of opinion on the topic. I believe that leaving your final sentence open ended like that without a strong argument of opinion allows readers to think for themselves.

A couple suggestions :) You could consider changing your font to something more basic so it is easier for your audience to read through your long paragraphs. As well, adding images to your presentation would be beneficial in making your assignment more visually attractive for readers.

Overall, you have done a good job so far! - Alessandra Antunes

Hi! I really enjoyed the content on your page, I found it extremely interesting and informative. I myself went to a school with a uniform and personally found it to be a beneficial to my learning with less focus on who was showing up with what cool new outfits and more on our actual education. I also see the benefit of self expression and how that helps people find their own individuality, coming into my first year of university i did actually have quite a difficult time of expressing my own style since I had always just worn a uniform. The issues arising with dress codes in school our quite sad and create even bigger gender barriers. The idea the male students feel too distracted when they see a young women wearing a tank top is quite disgusting. We should teach our sons not too think like that instead of raising women up to believe they shouldn't be allowed to do what they want with there body!

For my few suggestions I would say maybe add some photos and make it more engaging to the audience! other then that you're doing a great job and I really enjoyed learning more about this specific topic.
