Follow this checklist for ways to make your event more accessible and inclusive of all UBC community members:
Offer the choice of a gender inclusive washroom at your event. Are all the washrooms at your venue gender-specific - ie. for men or women? Some community members prefer to use a single stall, gender inclusive washroom.
Do you want to make UBC a more welcoming place for LGBTQ students, staff and faculty? Take a free Positive Space workshop from the Equity and Inclusion Office. Register online at positivespace.ubc.ca
