- This app takes the important data from landmark studies, and presents them in an easy to read format. This includes the absolute and relative numbers, NNT/NNH, and important baseline characteristics and demographics of each study. The results can be filtered by a 95% or a 99% confidence interval to only show those results that are statistically significant.
- Journal Club for the iPhone
- Journal Club for iPhone focuses on the top articles in internal medicine. Written by physicians, these article summaries are distilled into bite-size morsels that clinicians can digest quickly.

- This application contains over 30 clinical practice guidelines in abridged format. The app is easily updated as more become available. Guidelines can be searched, sorted by topic, and include pictures, flow sheets, and other useful information. - Presented by James McCormack and Michael Allan with focus on trying to promote healthy skepticism and critical thinking of a variety of topics with humour and in a case-based approach.
- Merck Manual of Patient Symptoms
- Provides a concise review of the evaluation of a common symptom, causes, history and physical examination, and Red Flag findings. An emphasis on features that help in differential diagnosis and a systematic approach to testing are included.
- Mayo Clinic
- The Mayo Clinic Medical Edge Radio Podcast brings together the daily, one-minute Mayo Clinic health news updates covering a wide variety of topics that are broadcast on radio stations throughout the United States and Canada.
- Ercast
- A short focused discussion on the questions, quagmires and known unknowns faced everyday in the emergency department with perspectives from emergency physicians as well as other specialties.
