How are Entries Organised

Entries are organized in three groups by sound classification. Group A incudes letters which have largely similar sound qualities to how they are pronounced in English, such as a, s, and ts among others. Group B includes letters that have sounds which do not normally occur in English, such as c, lh, and 7 among others. Group C includes ejective letters which do not occur in English, such as p̓, n̓, and y̓ among others. Within these three overarching groups, entries are sorted under individual letters. The entries do not necessarily start with the featured letter, but do contain the letter within the Lillooet word. Entries are not organized within the letter grouping in any way. Each overarching and letter grouping are introduced by a brief description.

Entries contain the Lillooet headword and the English translation. There is no other information within entries.

The final two pages of this resource have a list of Special Questions pertaining to unique sound situations.
