Feedback

  • Interesting course, but quite specific to those specialising in Transportation Engineering.
  • Not as technically challenging as the prerequisite course, but focuses more on overall transportation projects rather than the details of road design manuals.
  • Has no final exam, but has a very involving group project where Clark links groups up with municipalities (e.g. City of Vancouver) to work on term projects.
  • Teaches how to use Synchro software - but the total gain in using technical software is quite low. The version of Synchro used is quite old.
  • Clark gives supplemental lectures on GIS, databasing and planning which are nice to sit in.

Overall a good course with a very responsive instructor. A good recommendation if you're looking to specialise in Transportation Engineering particularly because of the hands on experience with companies / municipalities.
