Constructivist vs. Behaviorist vs. Educational Application of Artifical Intelligence

[Constructivist Approach]

"They saw computers as a medium for supporting and freeing children's thinking, giving children opportunities to solve problems and to create opportunities that were not common in instructional materials in most classrooms."

"rich learning and problem solving experiences"

[Behaviorist Approach]

Operant Conditioning i.e. responding correctly to the answer gives you a response (a positive one) while responding incorrectly gives you no response (or a negative one)

"building of rote knowledge i.e. "specific content presented to learners"
