How to Spend New Year's Day



There is some kind of ways to spend New Year's Day. This page is going to show these ways which are different from countries and area.

In Japan, the New Year's day is regarded as the most important day. We have traditional Japanese food prepared in advance for consumption during the first three days of the New Year and containing various specified ingredients. Japanese usually eat Osechi and Ozouni. House wives do not have to cook anything if once they cooked Osechi that is a lot of food that will keep for a long time in the box. In Korea, they do not go to temples. They eat Tokkug that is kind of rice cake soup. They believe if they eat this, they cecome one year older.
