-----TRANSCRIPT----- Victoria V.I. Apl. 14. 1864 R. Fisk. Esqr Dear Sir yours of the 4th received Let the beans slide as soon as you possibly can. I wish you to go to the Custom House and get me a Certificate manifest of 50 Bbls pork Shipped on the last trip of the Bark Adelaide Cooper & consigned to the H.B.Co. I have purchased the pork and want to send some of it over the Sound you will please add 10 to 20 kegs dried apples to my last invoice & 50 cases Lard same as last if you can buy it for seven and one half cents I can’t get more than ten for it now. I Shall not want any more paper for some time If butter should go down buy me Say 20 kegs &Send on steamer with Custom house certificate as usual yours Truly JA McCrea P.S. No Sales of flour.
