Description: This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on December 19, 1863, and sent on the steamer Pacific. McCrea wrote he expected trade to be dull until February, and thus did not need to order anything. McCrea discussed the business in flour, indicating he introduced flour from Marttetenstein & Co [Martenstein & Co; Markenstein & Co] against the favoured Golden Gate flour.
