I have more than I can sell here this season direct from Chile and want to dispose of some I have a cargo sale of Rice Sugar & Teas on Tuesday next and Expect a rather hard time with it Yours Truly J.A.Mc.Crea Description: This letter to Royal Fisk was written by J.A. McCrea in Victoria, Vancouver Island on April 15, 1863, and sent on the steamer "Bro Jonathan". McCrea provided directions for the sale of tea; asked Fisk to ship candles, and to purchase and ship cheap tobacco; inquired about selling his beans from Chile; and indicated his upcoming sale of rice, sugar, and teas likely will be difficult.
