How are Entries Organised
Entries are organized alphabetically by Lillooet according to the alphabet on p. xxxvii. Headwords in the main section of the dictionary are roots. Each root entry is followed by derivations. Affixes are listed following the main section of the dictionary.
Entries include the Lillooet root (for headwords) or stem (for subentries), and the English translation. Most entries also include example sentences using the stems in Lillooet and English. Some entries include etymological and/or cultural information. Entries in the affix lists that follow the dictionary include the same information, but do not list derivational forms. Each of these entries includes an example word using the affix.
