Getting started How do I get started?

Note: Crowdmark has been funded through December 2020.

Crowdmark itself provides detailed documentation for getting started.

To send a request for the LT Hub to set up Crowdmark in a course please see: https://lthub.ubc.ca/support/lt-hub/setup-requests/.

First-time users should note that:

What tools can I use with this?

Crowdmark is currently integrated with Canvas. Courses must be initially set up by LT Hub staff to facilitate data import, after which point the instructor can take over management of the course in Crowdmark.

Xerox also offers scanning services for administered assessments. Teaching teams will need to take care of delivering the exams to Xerox and ensure the scanned files are returned securely (UBC Workspace is a good tool to use for secure transmission). Contact the LT Hub for details and pricing for scanning services.

Available support What support is available?

Support is provided by the Learning Technology Hub and individual instructional support units.

For support specifically with scanning paper-based assessments, please see Crowdmark's tips on scanning assessments and general scanning guidance.
