"The question is not “Can you make a difference?” You already do make a difference. It’s just a matter of what kind of a difference you want to make, during your life on this planet."
-Julia "Butterfly" Hill
Teachers have influenced all of us, and have helped us to shape our understanding of the world. What do educators do if not inspire us to change, learn and grow into more thoughtful and critcial human beings? Teachers have an important role to play in educating others about the necessary steps to take in order to interrupt the perpetuation of racial discrimination.
This purpose of this portion of the Anti-racism and Social Change Resource Guide is to provide links to websites, appropriate book lists, lesson plans, and other multimedia resources for teachers to use when considering how to engage students in anti-oppressive education.
