I really like the timeline you have provided, and think that is a great way to see how (relatively) quickly we have progressed from simple things like plants and food (for efficiency purposes) to things like human gene. I like that you have broken down the challenges into categories. I wonder if you would consider also listing some of the possible benefits, and why people are doing this in the first place? It could be interesting to see how people weigh the argument of pros vs. cons. Cant wait to read your final article!
