I am not familiar with circuit questions as well, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Current actually can be negative depending on the direction the loop is pointing. I have verified that Li has correctly computed the values of and .
However, I have made some major changes to the structure of the solution, so I am putting it up for a second review.
