The Scholarly Communications & Copyright Office provides a range of services to support faculty and staff:

Custom Course Packs or the Bookstore
Print and electronic reserves
Posting content online in WebCT Vista, blogs, wikis or other platforms
Locating and using open educational resources
Open access, publisher agreements and authors' rights
Identifying copyright-compliant content sources for class instruction or course reserve

Workshops:

  • The Library, Bookstore and the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology are collaborating on a series of workshops and clinics that are offered on an ongoing basis to help faculty, staff, and students understand the appropriate use of copyrighted material at UBC.
