Hello everyone, my name is Jiahe (Eddie) Zhang. I am the student of UBC Vantage College arts secession. I am in group 13 of VANT 149. I am planning to major in the cognitive system in my second year at UBC. That is the combined science of psychology, philosophy, computer science, and linguistic. Which is related to the shape and transformation of human thought. Thus, the project about how education has changed our students' understanding of sustainability is attractive to me.
Hello, everyone. I am Yixin Zhang, you can call me Lucky. I am one of the UBC Vantage College art students. I am in Group 13 of VANT 149. I am not sure about my major but in the last term, I learned a little about Human Geography. So, in this era of rapid population growth, I am interested in the impact of sustainable agricultural development on people.
Nice to meet you! Everyone! I am Yan Zheng, you can call me Leon if you like. I am currently studying in the UBC Vantage College and is in group 13 of VANT 149. I am still considering what field that I should be dedicated to, however, in this certain case of research sustainability-related topics, I am curious about the development of agriculture that promotes sustainability, and people, as the primary consumers can contribute to this development.
Our topic is about the relationship between education and a sustainable local food system. Because of the growth of the population, sustainable agriculture becomes a serious problem now. So, our group want to find more information about whether education can help students to enhance their awareness of sustainable agriculture and whether they can understand the benefits of local food system.
