Description
English: The Nisshin Maru Japanese whaling factory ship built in 1936 was the largest of a 5-ship whaling fleet bearing technological advancements to hunt whales in the Antarctic. Ships are sometimes equipped with helicopters to quickly locate whales. The tail end of the ship has an open ramp that brings kill directly onto the butchering deck that can process an entire whale in an hour.
