Course:CSIS200/2025/The Exclusive Inclusivity of Modern Sexuality: the Evolution of What it Means to be Lesbian.

From UBC Wiki

Love, as it was once understood, has not withstood the test of time into the present day. Through various forms of modern media, the definition of what the world understands "lesbian" to be varies between cultures, time periods, and people. When compared to the original Papyri of Sappho, the concept of sexuality, specifically lesbian, has transformed from a term to represent two women in love into a term so broad that the inclusivity of the label becomes exclusive.

Introduction

Across time and space, across all species of animals, love as an emotion has prevailed. Even in the earliest centuries of human existence, dating back to the 7th century BCE, the poet Sappho has shown the world that love is the most natural feeling in the world.
