Older Adult Mental Health and Addiction Services are struggling to meet the current needs of seniors with late-onset mental disorders complicated by age-related frailty and/or cognitive impairment. With increasing population demands, any further budget cuts will impact services provided to: - support frail elderly and their caregivers in the community, especially those suffering from dementia - elder abuse and neglect issues - managing challenging dementia patients in complex care facilities.

Our group believes it is important to speak up about these issues in these times of economic restraint. Our patients are often too frail or confused to speak up for themselves.
