Research

I am a PhD student in mathematics. My area of research is representation theory/category theory; more precisely, I study objects called weak biaglebras and weak Hopf algebras. In short, these are generalization of the usual bialgebra and Hopf algebra. One of there nice property is to represent fusion categories, i.e. any fusion category can be seen as a category of comudules over a weak Hopf algebra.

Teaching

This term I am facilitating the TA Accreditation program course.

In the past I have taught both Math 100 and Math 180 which are differential calculus courses for first year students.
