I am a huge fan of Korean baseball league and I really enjoyed all the information presented here. It made me think of and imagine both gender plays in the same stadium, same game. I just wish to see more about if there exist women in other country’s (Japan for example) national leagues and their infrastructures, size of market, supports, etc. I can’t wait to read the final one.
Hello,
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your wiki page on women in baseball and found it very informative. One thing I want to point out was your format of your wiki page. The use of your headings create a very finished and formal look and I really like how you have highlighted specific terms and have information on them for those who may not understand them. I find this very helpful and you can tell that you spent quite a long time working on this. One thing I will suggest to you is if you add maybe a specific person, player, women or man who has made actions towards this issue or even really spoke about it. This gives your readers a chance to see the reality of it and that this is a talked about problem in society today.
Hi! I find your page incredibly interesting. In your "modern day" section, I would love to hear more about the world's changed (or changing) attitudes towards women in professional baseball, in addition to your features of current female players.
Hey, I find this topic very interesting and am really looking forward to reading your completed page! Did you know that there was a girl from UBC who was the first women to ever play in the West Coast League (a collegiate summer league) I think it would be really interesting for the rest of the class if you included something about her. Good luck completing the page!
Hello,
I would really enjoy reading about this topic. I know that women in baseball has a long history and many women's team have existed. Sports in general have been around for ages and I do not see it as a sexist type of matter. However, women are portrayed differently and I feel that it is unequal. I read in the past that there was a woman in the baseball league that struck out Babe Ruth. One suggestion is for you to give a background of the history of the women in baseball and select certain players that make a difference through their skills and influence. Hope this helps.
