UBC Library Support at BC Children's and Women's Hospitals
UBC Library provides a variety of information and consultation services that are useful for UBC faculty, staff & students located at the hospital sites.
- Most journals articles and many books are available online; materials available only in print (if under 30 pages) are delivered via the web.
- Information & Instruction is available by phone (604-822-4440), chat service, email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and electronic classroom.
Hospital employees are encouraged to use the library services provided by professional organizations (for more information, see Health Information Resources Provided by Professional Associations and Employers) and the resources of the Electronic Health Library of British Columbia available to the Health Authorities. UBC Library supplements these resources and services as needed.
