Adding Your Profile to the Index of UBC Mix Profiles

When you create a new UBC Mix profile, the Mix Coordinator will automatically be notified and will index your profile as soon as possible. Unless, of course, you would like to do it yourself! Instructions and further information can be found below.

How to Add your UBC Mix Profile to the Index

The index of UBC Mix profiles that is displayed on the main page of the UBC Mix Resources Portal is pulled in from the page "Documentation:UBC Mix Profiles." If you edit that page, your changes will also appear on the main portal page.

Steps

Prepare your row using the examples below. See further help on the Tables Help Page.
Link your name to your profile using the third example below. See further help on the Links Help Page
If you are not already logged in to the UBC Wiki, log in using your CWL (HINT: right click to open a new page)
Open the page "Documentation:UBC Mix Profiles." This is where the table of profiles is.
Select the Edit tab.
Locate the profile indexing table (The first table is the infobox. You will need to scroll down.)
Paste your new row below the four column headings (scope="col").
Save your changes.
Check your work.
