Activity Exchange

#ActivityExchange

During this unique FIREtalk, participating Graduate Students will have the opportunity to organize a short activity to illustrate, explain or teach an aspect of any discipline. Graduate students can participate in #ActivityExchange as an activity facilitator or as an audience member. Everyone will join in the activities.

Each activity will last 5 - 10 minutes and we expect to have 5-6 activities during the event, leaving plenty of time for interdisciplinary discussion. #ActivityExchange is a great opportunity to design, practice, facilitate, and participate in learning activities.

WHEN: July 9th, 2015, 4-6 pm (+ an optional workshop for tips on designing and implementing activities, July 7th)

WHERE: Koerner Library, Room 216

Want to participate?

FACILITATE an activity. To sign up to be an #ActivityExchange facilitator or ask any questions, please contact barak.caracheo@ubc.ca or melissa.janae@ubc.ca. Send a brief description of the activity you have in mind. If you have only a rough idea, don't worry: we can help!
