Khan Academy

Khan Academy is one of the best-known sources of screencasts on the internet. iPad screencasts

In this screencast by Dale Ledford at Northeast State Community College, the structure of a human skull is explored as the instructor annotates and narrates a cutaway model. This video allows learners to benefit from the expert instruction which comes with a lecture, at their own pace and convenience. Professor Ledford uses the Show Me app for the iPad to create his screencasts.

More examples using media in conjunction with flexible learning, including several screencasts, are available on the UBC Wiki, here.
