Documentation:Connect/Build a Course Module Page (How To)

From UBC Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Course Modules are specialized pages that contain dynamic content arranged in modules, similar to the My UBC tab when you login into Connect.

Module pages can be used as a course dashboard or as a course homepage for instructors to add relevant resource modules to assist students in understanding the course material, such as, a dictionary, thesaurus, textpad, calculator, news sources, and other modules.

Instructors can customize the display of the module page by renaming the page, and by adding and removing modules to the page.

It is important to note, Course Modules pages are different from Learning Modules. Course Module pages contain resource modules for the course while Learning Modules are containers for content that is organized by a table of contents.

This document will show you how to:

  • Build a course module page on the course menu
  • Build a course module page within a content area
  • Add and remove a module
  • Edit the module page
  • Add a module page banner
