General Information

The WorkCentre 6400 in Biological Science building is one of the three multifunctional printers for the Department of Botany. In order to use these two multifunctional machines, you will need to download the application form here, fill it in, have it signed by your supervisor(if your supervisor has the signing authority for the speedchart on the form) or departmental administrator (if the speedchart is a departmental speedchart) or yourself (if you are the principal investigator and has the signing authority for the speedchart), then return it to the Botany main office (Room 3529 Biological Science building). An account will be created for you and your 7 digit UBC employee number will be your account ID. You will be required to type in your account ID before you can print or copy from the WorkCentre. All account IDs will be linked to one or several speed charts that your supervisor or departmental administrator has authorized you to use. We synchronize user accounts with all three machines. If you already have access to other Botany multifuntional printers, don't have to apply for your account again. You will have to install the driver for this multifunctional device in order to print.

You are encouraged to go to the manufacturer's website for the newest manual and driver. Using CentreWare IS Quick Start Tutorial: http://www.office.xerox.com/userdoc/WC6400/qst/qst_usingcwis.htm Or you can download the manuals from below. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all manuals are updated.
