The practice or system of censoring something. It is famous for the conflict between Google and Chinese communist government. The Chinese government forces search engine companies to help the Chinese communist government censorship rule on the Internet. At the time when Google entered the Chinese Internet market, Google followed the rule. However, Google stated that it would not help the censorship rule any more in 2009. In March 2010, Google finally declared that it would withdraw from mainland China. At the same time, Google started the service without the censorship in Hong Kong.
