    • I have just finished reading David Levithan's "Everyday". It is a novel that deals heavily with the topic of belonging. The main character, A, does not belong in any sense of the word. A does not belong to a family. A does not belong to a gender. A does not belong to a body. A does not belong to society. Even though A does not "belong" in a multitude of ways, there is still a deep connection that I as the reader experienced felt with A.
